SOLID LIGHT Festival was born in 2015 with the name of ROmap with a wish to create a public and open cultural event for everyone in the city of Rome and bring people and light art into the streets to create a unique match between past and future and contribute to providing a positive and stimulating image of our city.
Since 2015 we have had over 400,000 attendees and produced over 20 events including monumental videomapping and light art installations. Pantheon, Circus Maximus, Piazza Navona, Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana are just some of the locations we have transformed over the years.
Over the years we bring to Rome the best of contemporary international light artists and invite to an inspiring experience of heritage and research.
Laszlo Bordos, Romain Tardy, Onionlab, Ouchhh, None Collective, Darklight Studio are some of the art digital stars we worked with.
